The controls don't do anything while the player is moving so if you press during that time, nothing happens. You can either wait till you can move again or hold it till you want to stop.I definitely intended more UI feedback, but that didn't make it into the game in the jam time.

the controls are really wack why does the character have to move at the falling edge of me pressing forward
